For 10 years Boot Residents & Tenants lived under the Lib-Dem controlled City Council in the worst housing conditions in the city after a failed redevelopment plan collapsed under the leadership of current Lib-Dem leader, Councillor Richard Kemp.
Councillor Richard Kemp, Executive Member for Housing was forced to resign after the development proposals he led were found by an official council report as Not ‘appropriate, deliverable or affordable‘ and Councillor Richard Kemp was forced to resign by pressure from outraged residents.
Boot Tenants & Residents were outraged by Councillor Richard Kemp’s incompetence and demanded a full independent inquiry.
